Perennial thornless ruby red berry, edible, delicions, with wide fuzzy maple-shapel leaves. 4-8 ft. tall. Spring white blossoms.

Found-in woodlands, forest openings, and canyons by streams. Spreads through rhizomes, creates dense vegitation.

Winter deciduous. Fast growing. Part shade, likes water. Draws pollinators.
