Orders, Shipping, & Returns
Orders Policy
We are a very small business, with limited staff and weekly operating hours. Each order is meticulously hand packed by humans, in a remote location with extremely limited housing and transportation. Please be aware of this when ordering, especially during the busiest season of fall & winter rains.
September through March is our busiest time of year!! We are undoubtedly overwhelmed and likely short staffed during this season. We cannot attend to ANY custom order requests, nor personal favors. Please don't ask for them.
The average turnaround time for orders made during the busy season is 3 WEEKS MINIMUM.
Please take this into consideration, and order EXTRA EARLY in the season to avoid disappointment in your planting window! PLEASE DO NOT slow down our crew members by contacting us prematurely about delivery times prior to 3 weeks of processing.
(Do refrain from the temptation to check in, as it will NOT achieve a faster delivery time for you personally; it will only help to slow the speed of all orders in the cue.)
In fairness to all of our customers, we cannot move any one's order ahead of others in the processing cue. Please don't ask us to.
Shipping Policy
Shipments are sent out twice weekly via USPS- normally on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Your order's package will likely have some character to it! This is because we strive to pack the majority of our large shipments in recycled boxes and reused shipping materials, whenever possible- to do our part in reducing global transport waste. We hope this is not too much of an aesthetic inconvenience for anyone, and assure that we will still give great care in packing your order contents safely, whatever the box it may come in.
ONCE ORDERS HAVE SHIPPED, THEY CANNOT BE RETURNED OR REFUNDED.
We cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to packages after shipment has commenced. Most order packages will be under the liability of USPS after leaving our doors (USPS.com). Please contact them directly if any package goes missing in transit, or if further follow up is necessary.
Returns Policy
You may request to CANCEL/REFUND your order within 24 hours of Payment Confirmation ONLY. (Other edits and adjustments may also be requested as soon as possible, but can't be guaranteed in time for processing.)
Beyond 24 hours after an order's payment and confirmation, all order adjustments or refund requests WILL REQUIRE A 25% ADDITIONAL RESTOCKING FEE to the customer. The order will be withheld from further processing until the additional fees are paid and verified.
If a refund is granted after the 24-hour grace period, a 25% Restocking Fee of the original purchase price total will be withheld from the order's credit back, and retained by Larner Seeds.
Orders that have already been processed, packaged, and shipped WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
