Native clovers and other herbaceous native plants are often the victims of attack by European snails and slugs. Native clovers in particular are vulnerable. Their sharp decline began at the same time as the intended or inadvertent introduction of European snails and slugs, in the late 1800s.

For this reason, we didn't begin carrying a selection of native clovers until we came across a product that repels without poisoning. Thanks to Sluggo, you can now plant clovers directly in the soil.

Using Sluggo is a step towards counteracting the near extinctions that resulted when  European field slugs and snails were introduced to California. Many organic farmers use it now. Net weight: 2.5 lb
