Prunella vulgaris, Self-Heal

Self-heal, a dicot, is a fibrous-rooted, perennial herb, that thrives in loamy soil with high organic content. It especially prefers damp soils yet can tolerate some drought conditions. Self-heal is native to California and is also found elsewhere in North America and beyond.
