Lupinus microcarpus var. ‘Ed Gedling’, Golden Lupine
Lupinus microcarpus var. ‘Ed Gedling’
An annual wildflower growing 1 to 2 ft. tall and equally wide, with golden flowers in 1 ft. long spikes. It blooms spring to summer forming long golden sweeps, likes full sun and can be planted in all soil types.
Like all members of the pea family this lupine has the added benefit of sequestering nitrogen into the soil. It blooms somewhat after the blue lupines, in May and June.
