Solidago californica, California Goldenrod

An easy-to-grow perennial that spreads through underground rhizomes. It lights up the late summer native garden with long golden-yellow flower spikes. It is not responsible for hay fever (that's ragweed). It grows about 3' tall, likes full sun, is easy to grow, and is winter-dormant.
